School, Soccer and birthdays

Well, School started on August 15th for L, but T didn't start until the following Monday. She was so excited about riding the bus. She has the same teachers L had for the last 3 years and we are thrilled. Her teachers are great. L's teacher is supposedly the best Kindergarten teacher at his school. We are thrilled about that. His class has a pet corn snake that they got to see eat a mouse the first week of school and he was beyond thrilled. He can now tell you anything you would want to know about snakes. He really paid attention to all she said about that. T is doing great as well, evidently they had a toy throwing problem the first week, but I guess that has been resolved as we have not heard anything else about it :) L's birthday is coming up and we are going to have his party on Saturday, he is really excited. He really wanted "The Backyardigans" he really liked them for awhile but kind of grew out of them. I tried to tell him he could have something else for a Birthday party theme, he still insisted on the Backyardigans. I guess we are going to do cake and Ice cream. We are going to put up the small pool and the slip n slide and let the kids go water crazy. As hot as it has been around here we thought that would be a great idea. Well, today it was 93 degrees and tomorrow it is suppose to be hot and muggy again, but then Friday guess what . . . .Cold front and storms, GRRRRR! The high on Saturday is suppose to be 80 degrees. T's birthday is only one month away and her gotcha day is on September 25th, so lots of celebrating going on around here.

Last week was supposed to be L's first Soccer practice and he got strep throat the day before so he missed his first practice. T got it on Labor day so she missed school on Tuesday. L went to practice today and we made a mistake and didn't give him his Adderall right after school so we gave it to him right before practice and he was so tired he didn't really try. I felt horrible, he can play and he loves it, but he wanted to go home and lay down. He also had to stop twice during a one hour practice and go have diarrhea from the Antibiotics for the strep throat. I guess next week we will have to make sure he gets his pill the minute he gets off the bus or try a week without it and see how that goes. I am posting a picture of him at practice today.

Sorry it has been s0 long since posting, but we are one crazy family here.

Oh yeah, i am addicted to "Big Brother 8" and "Rock of Love" with Bret Michaels from Poison. I love that trashy show :) Anybody else watching them????
